Tabebuia argentea

Tabebuia argentea, commonly known as the Silver Trumpet Tree or Tree of Gold, is a small dry season-deciduous tree that can grow to be a medium-sized tree. It reaches heights of 25-40 feet (7.6-12 meters) tall and spreads to a similar width. Its moderate growth rate makes it suitable for landscaping in areas where there is enough space for it to reach its mature size.

These flowers are usually a bright yellow color, although some variations can have orange or apricot hues. They bloom in clusters, creating a spectacular floral display that attracts pollinators such as bees and butterflies. The leaves are pinnately compound and are generally a bright green color, providing a lovely backdrop to the flowers when they are in bloom.

This tree is well-suited to tropical and subtropical climates, thriving in full sun with well-drained soil. It can tolerate periods of drought once established but benefits from regular watering during dry spells, especially when young.

Height: Typically grows to a height of 5 to 8 meters (approximately 16 to 26 feet)
Drought tolerance: High
Water-Logging Tolerance: Low.
Growth Rate: Moderate to Fast
Fragrance: The flowers are typically non-fragrant
